Si il y a "The Brooklyn, Bronx and Queens band" je ne suis jamais loin ! En effet, C'est un excellent titre tout comme le reste de l'album. C'est Kevin Robinson qui est crédité lead vocal.
Fonzi Thornton apparait en effet comme choriste tout comme Leroy Burgess, Timmy Allen ou Alyson Williams pour ne citer qu'eux. De toute façon, ils sont tous un peu éparpillés dans les autres groupes de Jacques Fred Petrus (... où l'on retrouve toujours et encore Jocelyn Brown ou Luther Vandross pour notre plus grand bonheur... ) Que du beau monde !

BBQB est mon scond groupe préféré après CHIC ! High Fashion et Change ne sont pas loin derrière ;)
Comme Electrofred j'ai toujours flashé sur la qualité des compositions de Jacques Fred Petrus.
Kevin Robinson est l'un des chanteurs lead vocals les plus doués de sa génération.
Un véritable artiste avec une voix incroyable, et dire qu'il est inconnu en France...
Quant aux background vocals, ils sont tout simplement magiques ! C'est la crème de la crème des années 80.
CHIC, CHANGE, BBQB, HIGH FASHION, M'TUME étaient si hauts qu'ils étaient inacessibles !

BB&Q is an incredible band Thierry, but I like all bands and all productions from PETRUS/MALAVASI team. Thierry, as you prefer BB&Q, I will list the video (audio only) of my favorite music of BB&Q Band, the song is "Stay" from third album called "Six Million Times" (1983), without any doubt one of the best music produced in 1983, very very very catchy.

Yeah Alex ! BBQB's "Stay" is a smash hit and I like this sound because of his powerful funky bass !

BB&QB has an incredible sound !!! My favorite songs are "Dreamer", "Starlette", "Main attraction", "On the Shelf", "Won't you be with me tonight"... from the album "Genie" in 1985 and "All night Long" from the album "all night long" in 1982


And my best singer is...Eric Mc Clinton from High Fashion. This man is probably one of the most talented lead vocal in these funky times

CHIC, CHANGE, BBQB, HIGH FASHION, M'TUME étaient si hauts qu'ils étaient inacessibles !

Tous ces groupes avaient un talent fou, mais CHIC avait en plus ce qui le place à part et ça s'appelle simplement... le génie. CHIC a tracé la voie puis s'en est écarté pour d'autres aventures.

Ces groupes sont complètement "inconnus" des pop rock critiques sauf... CHIC qui était vraiment cross over et qui (ça n'était pas gagné d'avance) est maintenant respecté et considéré comme référence au niveau de la pop music.
