Une scène du film avec CHIC a été coupée dans le montage final.
Ca explique l'accoutrement folklorique de CHIC sur la pochette du single Soup for One.

Nile Rodgers : "si je fais de la country comme pour la BO Warner Bros d’un film « Soup for One », comme ça s’est produit,
j’utiliserai encore les mêmes musiciens. Pour ce film, on a fait une version country d’une chanson hawaïenne traditionnelle."

Thank you so much frenchic for finding this interview from 1981 and posting it. What a nice surprise there is an unreleased song from the sessions of the "Soup For One" soundtrack project. It's unbelievable how from time to time unreleased songs, unreleased albuns, unreleased demos-outtakes-versions and many situations come up that we didn't know related both with CHIC ORGANIZATION and with solo career of NILE RODGERS and solo career of BERNARD EDWARDS, and that's great because they are two music geniuses. There are many unreleased finish songs, many unreleased demos, many unreleased outtakes and many unreleased versions (extended-instrumental-remixes-alternates) from the three fantastic companies:
